Our intrepid Board of Directors celebrated their 44th year of service this March at a gala dinner at the Otisville Rotary Club. Dinner and drinks were served and fun was had by all.
Diversity coordinator Roy Custer (standing in rear, sixteenth from left) planned the entertainment this year, opting for a Cleveland-based rapper named “EZ-Dogg”. Although Mr. Dogg’s playlist didn’t include many classic dance tunes, Boardmembers were “enriched” by the experience. After several numbers, Earl Bishop got out his Eb Gonick and his Sole-Ful Softshoe Shimmy-Shammers record collection and the party “switched gears”. Happy feet swingers Arliss and Bea Parcher immediately took to the dance floor, and were soon followed by Neal and Patricia Faley, Earl and Peggy Lester, and Lew and Rhonda Plunkett.
Carl Spemmins jr. led the annual toast, and Boardmembers pledged to continue to serve the company faithfully for another eight year term.
