[57] ABSTRACT
A motorized vertical apparatus for the display of flags greatly increasing the majesty and automation of the process. Requires that a great hole be dug for the stowage of the vertical shaft, upon which the flag is tied by means of cordage or clips. Upon actuation the shaft is elevated from below ground level to extend to full height, at which point flag is unfurled. A motor sufficiently powerful to elevate the shaft at great speed is located near the base of the apparatus. A warning sign is located near the point at which the shaft shall burst forth from the ground, so as to prevent accidents.
The device fulfills a long felt need for automation of the common flagpole; the associated benefits of which include attachment of flag to pole without the need for tall ladders.
